Trance 'til Dawn presents United Under Dance featuring Artic Moon

Trance 'til Dawn, the growing group of dance music enthusiasts, now positioned to also bring in to the country some of today's significant artists in this ever-evolving genre, brings us their first international dance act -- Artic Moon.

Artic Moon is known for his uplifting tunes and epic drops that go from 130 to 145 bpm. I am no dj/producer (or at least not yet) but with my observation of his tunes, that's my estimate of the bpm he is playing on.

I celebrated with the pack leader Pat Santos together with the rest of this genre's enthusiasts and advocates. All I could remember were the thumping of beats, the enthralled mix of whirling synths, and people just raving, getting lifted into what we call a state of trance.

There was even a time I was just in front of Artic Moon, jumping, staring at him, feeling his basslines, and in between that action I was able to take a quick snap of the guy.

Album Review: Alicia Keys - Girl On Fire

Alicia Keys is back with her fifth studio album Girl On Fire. The Alicia we find on Girl on Fire is much removed from how we left her on 2009’s The Element of Freedom, a rumination on the death of her grandmother and the break-up of a relationship. This album still remains my favourite and IMHO, the best AKeys work of her career.
Girl On Fire being the first album of her 30s, Keys is now married (to producer-rapper Swizz Beatz) and the proud mother of a young son. And understandably, the record takes this as its centre.

For all its big beats and stellar collaborations (and there are many: Frank Ocean, Emile Sandé, Darkchild, Babyface and Salaam Remi to name a few), the core of the album is Keys’ remarkable voice and simple songwriting.

The tone is set by the piano introduction, a sombre reflective piece, and then the defiant, nose-thumbing Brand New Me which makes Keys’ stance clear when she sings: “It’s been a while, I’m not who I was before.”

Girl on Fire is classic Keys at her most commercial that contains her signature vocal belts that catapulted her to superstardom.  The beautiful, sensual Fire We Make, a duet with Maxwell, is all muted horns and synth bass, a textbook quiet storm. The more you hear this track, the deeper you fall in love with it. Tears Always Win, co-written by Bruno Mars, is a convincing soul/gospel pastiche, played with a small band.

Not Even the King, written with Sandé, is probably the key track. Shorn of all bangs and crashes, it is a straightforward piano ballad, and although exploring the well-worn analogy of how being rich in love is better than all the world’s money (“Your arms around me / Worth more than a Kingdom”), it is strangely and sweetly affecting.

The credits say that Girl on Fire was “conceptualised and produced” by Keys. When you look at other artists of a similarity, you know that she hasn’t just dropped in to record with the latest producers.

As a result, Girl on Fire is a smart album, at the very least maintaining the high standards set on The Element of Freedom. It showcases her as a maturing performer and keeps her there or thereabouts alongside Beyoncé as the world’s leading contemporary stylist of mainstream RnB.

Noteworthy tracks include Girl On Fire, Brand New Me, Tears Always Win

Album Review: Christina Aguilera - Lotus

Christina Aguilera treats us with her seventh studio album Lotus
As she mentioned, this album is fun-filled, and she didn't care if it had hits-material. Of course, we'd believe that - right?

With the recent 'tragic' sales performance of Bionic, I feel Xtina was forced to go back to basics - and by this I mean succumbing to the commercially manufactured artist formula. This is the very same formula that brought her stardom to begin with.

I've been listening to the whole album for almost two weeks now. Let's backtrack for a minute… It is not a bad album, per se. It is a competent mix of great vocals, blue-eyed soul ballads, and trendy dance-influenced pop. There are no actually horrible songs.

She collaborates with Alex da Kid, fame and pop super-producer Max Martin. She's also commissioned her The Voice peers Blake Sheldon and CeeLo Greene. Noticing a pattern? After the commercial failure of Bionic, Christina seems to be hungry for a hit, and yet Bionic is actually a better album than Lotus.

One of the album's highlights is the power ballad Blank Page co-written by Sia; the track Light Up The Sky has that LSS effect; and other ballads Sing For Me, Empty Words, Best Of Me who all have been re-hashed from her previous works but still nonetheless a good listen.

Army of Me was described as the successor to Fighter, but the song lacks the same passion and angst. Let There Be Love could be described as an album highlight with its Max Martin-produced wall of synths, and has that American EDM sound written all over it but the song feels like it came a year or two too late.

Your Body, the lead single from the album, is another stand-out Max Martin produced pop track, which I truly felt was a very catchy track and deserved to be the carrier single. As for Just A Fool, a surprise and delight hit from Xtina and The Voice co-coach Blake Sheldon. The chemistry was just there, the vocals, the whole feel of the song brings a lot of hope for the album's struggle for success.

IMHO, I feel she is no longer a step ahead of her contemporaries, as she was with 2002’s Stripped and 2006’s retro pastiche Back to Basics. She’s trailing behind, desperately trying to hang on to the heels of her more successful peers. Which sometimes lead me to think that she is commercially misplaced - always next to someone, always being compared to. To date, I feel she doesn't have a solid identity as an artist as compared to the likes of Madonna, Mariah, Britney, etc. Don't get me wrong though, she is a great artist but I think she's reached the plateau of her artistry.

Having said that, Lotus is largely forgettable. While the songs are "good" they aren't as great - nothing that could stand alongside Stripped or Back to Basics. Everything felt like a second-place rehash - from album covers, to messages of the song, and even her voice sounded struggling for power.

Trance Around The World - Episode 450 | Above & Beyond: Group Therapy 001

Described by Pete Tong as "the UK's Trance superstars," Above and Beyond rank among the world's top 10 DJs according to DJ Magazine and are undoubtedly one of the dance scene's leading-edge players. Their Trance Around The World radio show currently enjoys a weekly listenership of over 30 million on FM and satellite and the Internet, and has been responsible for breaking many of dance music's biggest records, in addition to featuring exclusive guest sets by some of the world's greatest DJs!

I once read somewhere that Above and Beyond's connection with India has been deep and long-standing. With the country's club scene growing rapidly, India is the perfect location for the 450th episode celebrations to take place.

Joining them for this 9th anniversary special will be Mat Zo, Norin and Rad, Andrew Bayer, and Jody Wisternoff.

Took a snap while tuned in to Above & Beyond's Trance Around the World 450th episode live streaming. The last episode of TATW is also the birth of a new show called Above & Beyond Group Therapy. And now on the decks, Andrew Bayer driving everyone mental! Excited to hear Mat Zo and Above & Beyond later.

Album Review: Universal Religion 6

One of the most sought after compilation has just been released – Universal Religion Chapter 6, mixed and compiled by no other than Armin van Buuren, who is riding on the highs of his Invasion Tour as well as celebrating his 550 episode of A State Of Trance. Unlike the last two chapters, this was recorded live at Club Privilege in Ibiza.

Catching Ibiza’s magic is a task that only the most experienced musicians can complete. AvB is one of them. Through his Universal Religion series, he’s captured the summer since 2004, landing a mix compilation that burst with exclusive highlights. In 2012, he lands the 6th Chapter of ‘Universal Religion’, recorded live during the A State of Trance Night at the world-famous Club Privilege and including artwork by world-famous Dutch artist Joseph Klibansky.

UR6 makes you part of these special happenings with two live recordings. It makes you feel the energy of the crowd, lets you hear their screams for more, as well as bringing you a selection of exclusive and custom-made tunes and remixes by some of the world’s most talented producers. Tracks by Protoculture, Orjan Nilsen, Aly & Fila, Jorn van Deynhoven, A.R.D.I., Solarstone, Andrew Rayel, and many more.  Including the brand new Armin single, ‘I’ll Listen’ and many other premieres, It is the timeless musical memory of 2012’s summer season

I love trance and AvB is undeniably one of my favorite DJ/producers, but I've been a bit disappointed lately by some of his material -- probably too much commercialism going on that to a point it becomes the so-called Top 40 EDM. Still I cannot deny the fact that he is one of the best crowd-driver in an event filled with blissful ravers just wanting to get lost in the arms of trance. So I was still hopeful about this compilation. Having given it a listen, I've concluded that by any standard, this album represents a triumph in trance music. If you're on the fence like I was, I for one can attest to this album's excellence throughout. If you're new to trance and looking for some good music in the genre, well, you can't do better than this album. If you don't like trance, this one might win you over.

Album Review: Calvin Harris - 18 Months

Calvin Harris, one of my favourite producers (who also happens to sing) releases his third LP 18 Months. I figured why such is the title - since it has been roughly 18 months since the supposed release of the record.

I first heard about Calvin Harris when he produced two of Kylie Minogue's stand out tracks on her X album - In My Arms and Heart Beat Rock. From then on, I became curious about his sound. Started listening to his I Created Disco record back in 2007, but what made love this fella was his 2009 release: Ready For The Weekend.

With much anticipation about his new record and his new-found fame -- including producing We Found Love for Rihanna; collabs with Kelis, Florence of Florence and the Machine, Ne-Yo, Nicky Romero -- the album raised so much expectations and I could say they were met. Or even have exceeded for the many.

What difference can 3 years make, right? I've seen and heard how Harris musical palette and style evolved and how he is also becoming smart about its business side without compromising much of his artistry.

With the explosion of the EDM genre in the music market, Calvin's sound is something I'd still want to hear. I just hope he doesn't succumb to so much commercialism. While the collab with Ne-Yo, and producing jobs for Mary J. Blige, Ke$ha, and other mainstream artists are quite the sign he's onto the same path as David Guetta took, I still have much respect to his talent and how he helped mould the UK dance scene with his is really interesting and funky attitude.

Only one track stood out for me: Awooga; while the other noteworthy tracks are: the 2-dozen chart-topping hit We Found Love, Mansion, Feels So Close, Iron, We'll Be Coming Back, Sweet Nothing, and School (which is a great reminder of how Harris' sound started out.

Album Review: Kylie Minogue - The Abbey Road Sessions

Kylie Minogue breathes new life to her hits for the past 25 years.  With Flower being the single carrier of the album speaks for the whole feel of the album. Working with long time collaborator, Steve Anderson of Brothers-in-Rhythm, they both re-worked the 16 (+2 in both AU & JP editions) of Kylie's hits into an orchestral remix. It was the turning of I Should Be So Lucky into a torch song for an Australian gig 12 years ago that initially inspired Kylie to reinterpret her glittering back catalogue of pop with the help of an orchestra. Of course she's had plenty of hits since then - most notably here with On A Night Light This, Love At First Sight, and Can't Get You Out Of My Head as well as In My Arms, and Wow; all of which have been stripped off their pop shimmer and allowed the lyrics to come to the fore. Just imagine the synths being replaced by cello and violins. What a treat!

That said, the most frivolous of her PWL years still make for the most interesting listening. Deep sadness has been unearthed on I Should Be So LuckyHand On Your HeartBetter The Devil You Know, and Never Too Late. All these songs convey a sad message but with Kylie's charms and PWL's luscious, sugary coating of melody and rhythm, all these songs back then seemed a perky, happy one.

On the other hand, there are songs like Come In To My WorldI Believe In You, and Slow, that have been remixed and re-engineered in various genres but nevertheless still a stand out track; Confide In Me and Finer Feelings don't fall far from its original feel but personally it sounds more vulnerable on this record; Where The Wild Roses Grow, the duet with Nick Cave became more morbidly haunting. Locomotion is a playful throw-back to 60's vibe to give tribute to its original - Little Eva

With the re-birth of the old hits and Kylie stepping out of her comfort zone, this work is exploding with so much artistry. It would also be interesting to hear how she would have done Wouldn't Change A Thing, Shocked, Spinning Around, and Get Outta My Way had they been also included on the collection.

This is a treat for all Kylie lovers out there.

The Becky Drag-on With An Eyebrow Tattoo

Girls can wear jeans and cut their hair short because it's okay to be a boy. But for a boy to be a girl is degrading because you think that being a girl degrading. But secretly, you'd want to know what's like, wouldn't you -- what it feels like for a girl - Madonna

My ultimate icon - Kylie Minogue

It's fun to be a girl sometimes. This is another tribute to women, and anyone, who takes effort to look beautiful. It is not easy, people! Aside from the fun part, dressing up as someone taught me a whole new perspective of things that actually helped mould the character that I am now. I have better understanding of people - that sometimes women aren't cranky because they are bitches but simply their shoes are just killing them.

I want to share with you a journey of how I got in to this whole dress-up-as-someone-for-Halloween thing. Even when I was a kid, I remember putting on my mum's shoes, using the blanket to make a dress-like outfit,  and generally using my mother's stuff. Yes people, it is an indication that a boy is a gay boy. So for mothers out there who see this sign, you should, this early point in time, start accepting you're son might be gay - and it's not a bad thing.

Don't get me wrong though, I do not want to become a girl. But sometimes it's fun putting myself in their shoes, literally - what it's like, how fun it is as well as how difficult it is, especially nowadays.

We have friends who became inspiration to both me and Jason in dressing up. My three very good friends Ryan Pronstroller, Jethro Patalinhug, and Mike Reyes who all taught us how to nail an outfit. We learned from the best!

Fast forward to 2007, my BFF Jason Tomas shared with me his first drag on moment - hosting his company's Christmas party as Mariah Carey. He looked really funny though but it's the type of funny to make dressing like a girl fun. When I visited him in is house, we played dressed up in his room like little girls. We used his Natasha 3" heels and used other means to create a dress-like outfit. Here are some of the photos:

left: Miss Brazil                      right: Flight Attendant

It was a lot of fun. There were a lot more photos but to spare me of my remaining dignity, I will not be posting them anymore.

Come 2008, we have decided to sip up some courage to dress up in public for Halloween. This photo sparked that thought:

Typically, you would think that I went for Beyoncé and Jason went for Britney. On the contrary, it was the opposite. He decided to be Beyoncé from the Destiny's Child Survivor music video whilst I tried to be Britney Spears from the ...Baby One More Time music video. Honestly, I could say we were pretty enough for first timers. But we did have a whole lotta room for improvement.

This was the year where all the Halloween parties were scattered in many days. Our first appearance was at Fiama in Jupiter. This was the Gossip Girl era that everyone dressed up like an upper-east sider school girl.

I will let the photo do the talking. Here I was as Britney Spears from the ....Baby One More Time Video:

I know I'm missing the pig tails and the blonde hair but I was pretty enough. Though people were confused who I was but most of the recall was still Britney because of the knot I did on the blouse. So that kind of salvaged the look. Lesson learned #1: Recall - to gauge how recognisable your costume is.

In 2009, we both missed the preparation for Halloween due to busy schedule at work. We did not have time to prepare. But in December of that year, I have planned our company's Christmas party. As I have been commissioned to be the host, I decided to dress up a little bit. Luckily for me, we have some friends in the business whom I asked for help for the costume I wanted to wear. This was an impromptu decision just like how Jason decided to host their company's party.

Here I was glimmering in a sequins-studded outfit by Charina Sarte. The look was inspired by Heather Graham from Austin Powers 2: The Spy Who Shagged Me and Fly-Eye Glasses was inspired by Calvin Harris. This outfit was apparently worn by Kyla in SOP before I borrowed it. That gives you a hint what dress size she is:

As we miss dressing up in public together, Jason and I decided to push to a higher level our Halloween costume. So in 2010, we researched about who we wanted to be. From where he was working at the time, his employer also owned a dress-making shop in the same building where their office is. When the time came we have decided on a peg, we went in for consultation and had out fitting. We were so excited as this is the first time we had our outfit done. Customisation is key! We decided to show our assets: Jason, abs; Marx, legs. He was a Hellcats cheerleader whilst I was a sexy lady referee.

It also so happened that we met Renan Bautista from a couple of common friends. Never imagined this meet up witll be the start of a yearly Halloween client-MUA relationship.

Here I was, the lady referee:

I achieved my goal that night - to look like a total girl. Although I got many references to who I was donning that night: Victoria Beckham, Vanessa Hudgens, Miss Universe 2010 Jimena Navarette of Mexico, and Penelope Cruz. Lesson Learned #2: Attitude - whatever you lack, you make it up with attichood!

After this night we were really raving with the result and was overwhelmed by the responses of both friends and people who didn't even know. This experience fired us up to don the what-was-yet-to-be-the-costume-to-beat.

As Halloween 2011 approached, we had ample time to conceptualise and prepare for the look. This point in time, people were really looking forward to who/what we will be wearing. We wouldn't want to let this people down so we squeezed our creative juices to come up with a ka-Vogue outfit.

This time Jason decided to become one of the greatest icons there is - Wonder Woman. As for me, I was having a hard time deciding. Just my luck with timing, I got to watch the movie Black Swan for the first time. When I saw the character of Natalie Portman as the dark side of the swan princess, I immediately got butterflies in my stomach and started pointing at the screen saying, that's me alright! I will be Black Swan!

We got all pegs aligned, contacted our former couturier. We had our fitting and was truly excited. However, this brought distraught when we learned that person making our dress resigned and left the work hanging. We also thought they didn't have the right knowledge to perfect the costume. So we resorted to another couturier who specialises in making outfits for CosPlayers. That boosted our confidence they will get the outfit right. So we had another fitting and religiously followed up.

At first, I wasn't confident with the outcome of the costume, Black Swan is a Russian ballet, therefore it needs to have a Russian-style tutu - the final product was American-style and we didn't have an ample time to re-work the costume. But I still felt good and confident that I can pull it off. Then came the make-up sesh. Renan is such a genius he did Black Swan's feather-eye make up on me in a matter of minutes. The make-up did salvage the look. The recall was perfect!

Here I was as The Black Swan: Lesson #3: Maintenance - how manageable is it to sustain the look and feel of the get-up.

After this night, we have reached the peak of our Halloween costume hobby. We both thought this were the costumes to beat - puts the pressure for the coming years!

The comes 2012, the pressure is really on. We were brain-storming if we can really out-do the previous year's costume. As September approaches, we were getting anxious and tensed - yes we are that serious. Our social status were on the line (LOL!). Desperation seemed to have kicked in, we were coming up with crazy concepts. The time came we needed to visit our couturier, Jason has decided to become a Hooters girl whilst I half-heartedly decided to become Akasha, Queen of the Damned - which I have been planning to go as from yesteryears. During the visit to our tailors, we were still pretty much undecided. I got Jason to actualise our former plan to dress up as Baywatch babes. He will be CJ Parker and I would be Lt. Stephanie Holden. But I didn't want to share the concept, so I pushed for Akasha. With religious follow up, I was able to get an early fitting. When all seemed in place, I didn't feel right about my costume. I was having a costume crisis as if my life depended on it. I decided to drop the Akasha concept Thursday night, just two days before the Cream Ball.

That night I dreamt of the Candyman video, not sure what it meant but it all just dawned on me that might be my inner-self sending me a message. That morning, I began checking out the video and the photos. Then there it was - butterflies in my stomach. The same feeling I got with Black Swan. At that moment too, I've decided to yield to Black Swan's legacy but promised to be sassy, sexy, and fun donning my new-found costume.

Friday lunch time, I called my couturier that they need to rush another costume and have to get it by 3PM Saturday. I did what I thought I had to do.

Being my inspiration with costumes and concepts, I saw my friend Mike Reyes online on Skype and shared with him this change. Without realising he previously shared this concept with me before. Honestly, I have never thought he would be serious to push for this concept since we were sharing so many pegs at the time we were chatting. In girl world, what I did was a NO-NO. But my instincts kicked in and I was decided to push for the look. Coupled by the facts my other friends went as Baywatch Hunks, so Jason was their muse, and some other friends went as Sailor Men, so I thought I could be their muse. We were in-theme!

Nuff said - here are the photos to tell you the story. Here I was as Candy, with a 1940's pin-up girl inspired make-up. I was really a girl: Lesson Learned #4: Pay-It-Forward - there has been an increasing number of people who we, apparently, inspired to dress-up. I want to share a deeper meaning to this yearly thing.

That's done for 2012! So you might be thinking what's in-store for 2013? Let's decide after the world decides not to end in 21 December 2012. But I assure you, if that is really bound to happen, you will see me in my fiercest, most glamourous yet. Stay tuned!

Bigfish presents Cream Halloween Ball 2012: Under The Sea featuring Sean Tyas and Simon Patterson

As Halloween approached, so did the pressure on what to wear for this year's Cream Halloween Ball. This is the event's 12th anniversary and the longest running Halloween costume party in the country. From the past two costumes I've donned - I do have a really big shoe to fill.

Meanwhile, as exciting it is for the EDM community, a back-to-back special was arranged by Bigfish for its fans and loyal followers: Sean Tyas and Simon Patterson each and both on the decks for Cream! How cool can that get?

This year's theme was underwater where me and my BFF Jason had a hard time figuring out a concept on what to wear. We even resorted to silly ones because it was really hard to out-do our 2011 costumes: The Black Swan and Wonder Woman. However, we came to a point we would just wear anything we feel sexy, confident, and fun in. So that's what we did. On my part, I did have a costume crisis. Last minute change of heart. I felt this when I fit my costume and it didn't feel right. Good thing our couturier is so good they can also do rush orders. And what I wore that night, was a great decision and a lesson to always rely on instincts.

My outfit was inspired by Candy, the foxy sailorette from Christina Aguilera's Candyman music video and BFF Jason did a C.J. Parker (Pamela Anderson) as a Baywatch Blonde Babe.

Who whore'd (wore) it better?

Unlike last year, we were earlier than the usual to become a part of a media conference. This is a brief meet-and-greet and a chance for press, bloggers, and select few fans to ask the guest djs/producers questions. I got to do the ice breaker question, followed by a few more intriguing ones. Not mention, both Sean & Simon did like my costume but most importantly, had I not admitted I am a dude, they will never know.

with Sean Tyas and Simon Patterson

I've always love the styles of both Si and Sean. They are more on the a deeper and darker side of trance which give them an edge from the so many dj/producers out there. I also follow the podcast of Sean Tyas called TYtanium Sessions. Si;s racy and edgy style is also mental - he could really drive to the edge in a very good way. Listening to both of them that night, there were times I could barely recognise who is on the decks. They both sound the same -- and by that I mean they both delivered mental tunes!!! Made me dance in my heels. Sean & Si did kill the night more than my 5-inch heels killed my feet.

Back to the look of the costume, I was overwhelmed with the response of people. There were friends who kept asking to send photos as they were excited to see what we were wearing that night. Some kept calling to ask what's our costume like. It felt as if we were stars and people anxiously await what we have in store for them. This year, the make-up also levelled up. All thanks to our brilliant MUA Renan Bautista. He both made me and Jason to look like girls - he softened our features. I was a girl!! Some say I look like Iza Calzado, and many would comment I really did look like a 1940's pin-up girl.

This year's Cream is one for the books - I did enjoy both my costume and the music. This also a shout out to all the others who exerted effort to looking good and having fun this Halloween. Cheerio!

To those who weren't there, here are a few snaps of what you have missed:

Baywatch Babe C.J. Parker, The Shadow (?), Christina Aguilera Candyman

The de Rossi Sisters - Assunta & Alessandra

Posing for the cameras, press, fans, paparazzis - this is one of my fave shots that night

Ong-Bak (Thai Boxer) and our bodyguards on the side

Freshness: Wig to Wig; Lips to Lips; Breast to Breast; Legs to Legs; Heels to Heels

The 1940's Pin-Up Girl is the 2012's Pick-Up Girl

Comments are welcome. Be honest but nice. Happy Halloween!!!

Candy

Album Review: Jaytech - Multiverse

Hailing from the Anjunadeep stable of international DJs and producers, Australian-born Jaytech (James Cayzer) is redefining what can be done with the building blocks of trance music. He has taken the reigns as A&R co-director at Anjunadeep, continually deconstructing founding band Above & Beyond’s uplifting vocal trances and rebuilding them with a jolt of emotive , melodic European House, and a total disregard for genre-defining boundaries.

Jaytech delivers the freshest tracks on his weekly podcast, and now he challenges producers worldwide with the grooves of Multiverse - his second artist album.

The male vocals on Labour of Love feat. Nathan Grainger and Stranger feat. Steve Smith, and the all-encompassing synth scales of New Vibe and title-track Multiverse would fit nicely within Above & Beyond’s world-renowned DJ sets. Rabbit Raiders and Epsilon flirt with these soundscapes, then turn up the pace and electro filters to highlight Jaytech’s subtle bad-boy charm. This electo-edge is the focal point of Through The Maze” feat. Serenade, which for full effect should be performed live with a retro instrument

Jaytech attempts to reinvent the mousetrap with Innovation feat. Nathan Grainger. The 21st century sounds have to work around the bouncy boy-band melody and half-spoken lyrics: These feelings I have are so true/ just want to share this day with you. This miscue is soon alleviated with the dense Rossa Corsa-esque dreamwave on Diode. A classically trained pianist, Jaytech layers complex run of synths with psychedelic whispers that vibrate through your eardrums.

Multiverse lets the listener down easily, with both of the last two tracks hitting at a seemingly below 100bpm. Ample space between notes allows for total appreciation of Melody Gough’s soft vocal pleas on Blue Ocean, escaping the speakers with a delicate trip-hop touch.

At a relatively lengthy 13 tracks and over 70 minutes, I had the urge to skip back to the most pleasing tracks. But Multiverse is a cross-genre adventure that is best explored in full.

Noteworthy tracks include Diode, Blue Ocean, Multiverse, Coda
